Monthly Challenge - Get the art out there...

I set a mission/goal at the beginning of 2016 for myself to try and show my images somewhere each month. Whether I enter them in to a contest, juried show, local call for artist, facebook or through my website I am working at representing myself and my art to a wider audience then myself.

So far this year-into March - I am on track - In January I showed at the Southern Colorado Photography Society annual show - Jurors Choice , Hug-a-hunter online contest - image below hanging through August at The wildlife Experience at CU Denver South, through March I have a piece hanging at the Fremont Center for the Arts in Canon City for a show "Mathmatical Abstraction" (a mixed media piece - trying new things), my image of the dam at lake pueblo "Sunset Dam" was chosen 1st place in the landscape category for the Eagle Days event at Lake Pueblo-call for artist, during the months of April-June I will have a "South Marina with Spanish Peaks" hanging at the Colorado State Capital Building in Denver as part of a call to artists in Pueblo for "Spot light on Pueblo"-myself and 31 of local artists were selected for this preview of Pueblo as part of the Colorado Creative Industires initiative and Pueblo Creative Corridor.

So I am working forward to maintain my streak of getting printed images into the world and hoping for new adventures that will keep me creativity stimulated
